Two by Twelve believes in the power of Music Therapy.
Two by Twelve teamed up with The Cancer Center For Kids at Winthrop University Hospital to empower lives through music, drama and dance!
The Cancer Center For Kids at Winthrop is famous for its incredible Child-Life, Art, and Music Therapy programming for children and families battling Pediatric Cancer.
This year, as in the past, The Cancer Center For Kids hosted their annual fundraiser for their Music Therapy program. The event was called Rock 2 Beat Pediatric Cancer! and Two by Twelve was there every step of the way. Alongside twelve Pediatric Cancer survivors, Two by Twelve provided artistic assistance in the areas of dance choreography, costuming, acting and set design.
Practice and preparation all payed off on November 10th, when the fundraiser was held at Long Island’s Garden City Hotel. Seven perfect little princesses and five handsome super heroes put on the performance of a lifetime! Playing to a sold-out ballroom of over 300 people, the kids sung and danced so flawlessly that not a single person was left in their seats.
Mission accomplished!
